NATE February 16th 2013

PRIVATE WORK, PUBLIC SPACE
Building relationships between the classroom and the gallery

MANCHESTER ART GALLERY
10am, SATURDAY, 16TH FEBRUARY, 2013

Art Therapists, like all of us, have multiple shifting and overlapping identities that we adopt and cast aside in different settings and different areas of our lives. For the first SIG-NATE session of 2013 we would like to encourage participants to reflect on how their identity might shift through engagement with a public art gallery.

You will be invited to use exhibitions currently on display at Manchester Art Gallery to decide how you would display your work publicly and give you the opportunity to better appreciate the huge potential that exists in public galleries in enriching your own practice.
